Lead Estimator to lead strategic bidding efforts, ensure accurate and profitable estimates, and drive team performance.
Role Overview As the
Lead Estimator, you’ll lead and manage the estimating team while overseeing project bids and estimating strategies. You'll work closely with General Contractors, collaborate across departments, and deliver performance reports to stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a critical function within a growing, innovation-driven company.

What do you do? - Lead and mentor the estimating team to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Oversee preparation of detailed estimates for custom acoustical panels
- Analyze architectural drawings for precise material and labor takeoffs
- Implement strategic estimating tactics to increase win rates
- Negotiate contracts with General Contractors to align with business goals
- Deliver performance reports and financial insights to shareholders
- Collaborate with sales, design, and production teams for seamless project delivery
- Refine and improve estimating workflows for better results
What do you need? - 3–5 years of experience in construction estimating, ideally in acoustical or specialty interiors
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing a high-performing team
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and estimating principles
- Ability to read and analyze architectural drawings in detail
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure favorable project terms
- Analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
