Woods & Co Recruitment has partnered with a global non-alcoholic wine alternative brand for a Business Development Manager role based in Los Angeles. This company’s mission is to redefine the wine occasion. They’re looking for passionate, creative, and strategic thinkers to join their team as they expand their brand and presence globally.
In this role, you will secure sales to new and existing customers, work across marketing, and act as a brand ambassador. You need to be an autonomous, self-starter who’s results driven and will think outside the box in order to grow this company in the American market.

What do you do? - Drive sales across Chicago
- Drive new distribution across the on & off-premise including groups and alternative channels
- Make decisions to drive sales targets while managing budgets
- Lead negotiations with partners around terms, joint business plans, core ranging, and promotional strategy
- Identify new channels of opportunity and develop entry strategy
- Report sales forecasting and budget
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, and Supply chain teams to ensure strategies are executed successfully
- Develop and drive ROS activations across all channels
What do you need?
- Trade experience and understanding of the food & beverage or hospitality industry (i.e. spirit sales, bartender, sommelier, concierge, hotelier, etc.)
- You have a strong analytical mind, know your numbers, and have a “can-do” attitude combined with strong negotiation skills
- You’re a creative and ambitious person who understands the nuance behind sales and the hospitality industry
- You are up for a challenge, looking to lead, and are passionate about food & beverage
